Newspaper photography taught me how to be not only a technically sound photojournalist, but - more importantly- a storyteller. The daily grind trains you to look for moments, to explore different angles, ask questions, and truly see your subject. For me, it has always been those beautiful imperfections in life that really tell a story - and that make a life. Below are a few of my favorite images.
